About the vacancy:
As a Senior Compliance Officer, we need you to:
  • Manage regulatory compliance processes of the company;
  • Manage regulatory changes and inform staff accordingly;
  • Assess the compliance of the company activities/documents with the applicable regulations and rendering relevant recommendations, guidelines, and memos; 
  • Develop and update the company’s policies and procedures; 
  • Coordinate compliance with the group policies;
  • Advise the staff on compliance matters;
  • Conduct periodic compliance training for the staff; 
  • Manage compliance monitoring process;
  • Report to the company’s management on a periodic basis/upon request;
  • Participate in the new products launch process in the company within the competence;
  • Draft/review (and manage the approval process from the regulatory authorities, if necessary) the terms and conditions (e.g. the terms and conditions under which the company provides services) and amendments to it;
  • Manage the application process to obtain and/or renew the relevant certificates/licenses/permits;
  • Represent the company before the regulatory authorities on compliance matters; 
  • Serve as a key contact person of the company with regulatory authorities on compliance matters; 
  • Attend inquiries (including inspections) on-site or off-site from regulatory authorities and provide due assistance to the regulator;
  • Report to regulatory authorities;
  • Draft/review compliance-related correspondence (including in relation to customer complaints); Review agreements to be signed in the name of the company from the regulatory perspective and draft relevant clauses;
  • Perform other duties as assigned by CLRO/Compliance Director.
  • We need you to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law. A Master’s degree will be an asset;
  • At least 3 years of work experience as a lawyer or compliance officer;
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and excellent analytical skills;
  • Excellent legal writing skills;
  • Ability to work independently and under time pressure;
  • Integrity;
  • Effective communication skills;
  • Proficiency in English.
