About the vacancy:
As a Portfolio Manager, we need you to:
  • Lead the Initiation, Planning and Execution phases of the specific Portfolio projects;
  • Participate in the Strategy and Vision formation process of the assigned Portfolio;
  • Manage Small, Medium projects independently and Complex projects under the supervision of PPMO;
  • Set and continually manage project expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members and stakeholders;
  • Define project scope, objectives/goals and deliverables involving all relevant stakeholders and Facilitate investigation of technical feasibility;
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor, track progress and share with clients/stakeholders;
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff, provide direction and support;
  • Assure the project tasks and resource requirements are clearly defined;
  • Direct and motivate the project team as appropriate;
  • Assure effective communication of Project Objectives, Timeline, Scope and Responsibility distribution;
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget;
  • Manage expectations for the delivery of the project and escalate to PPMO as needed to enable appropriate corrective action to be taken;
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects;
  • Manage the relationship with the clients and all stakeholders;
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation;
  • Keep abreast of new and emerging technologies, and other developments in the current area of work;
  • Manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs;
  • Estimate timelines, measure risk and devise mitigation strategies for identified risks;
  • Present to Project Steering Committee/Project team the Concepts, planning and project status/progress reports, defining ongoing activities, problems and solutions;
  • Project evaluation and assessment of results;
  • Manage vendor selection process, under the supervision of PPMO;
  • Work with the PPMO to facilitate process improvements to Portfolio Management;
  • Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the PPMO;
  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence;
  • Define interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs.
  • We need you to have:
  • Portfolio of independently accomplished projects, which are recognised as successful (In Time, within the budget and according to the scope);
  • Tools: Intermediate knowledge level of MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Visio, Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
  • Well Awareness of Technical Business Processes in order to independently define the flow and sequence of works to be performed;
  • Working experience in project management (Agile - Scrum / Waterfall);
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skill;
  • Leadership, Business Knowledge / Ability to understand business needs;
  • Fluency in Georgian and English;
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile when required;
  • Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands;
  • Skills/Knowledge to estimate the resources needed for project tasks accomplishment.
