About the vacancy:

As a Security Operations Analyst, we need you to:

Incident response handler

Managing and monitoring SIEM and other key security tools

Improving SIEM solution capabilities

Complete daily standard operation procedures and follow up actions

Handle security related incidents

Support potential security incidents in line with appropriate processes

Improving SOC workflow and processes

Ensure SOC workflow keeps running smoothly and allocate resources appropriately to tasks

Monitor and review key metrics for SOC personnel on shift, ticket quality assessments.

Provide developmental and technical feedback to SOC personnel

Participate as needed in internal planning sessions and provide feedback for service enhancements

Create and interpret regular and ad-hoc security reports

As a Security Operations Analyst, we need you to have:

Excellent written/verbal communication skills

Excellent organizational and communication skills are required

Multitasking in a fast-paced environment 

Working effectively with a variety of stakeholders from different technology and business

Ability to work with a low level of supervision, and can be relied upon to deliver good quality results by agreed deadlines 

Continuous focus on service improvement

Ability to manage multiple escalations and make effective use of SOC resources

Prioritizes own work and may have duties instructing, directing, assigning and overseeing work of less senior engineers

Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, excellent problem-solving skills

Thorough understanding of network services, exploits, vulnerabilities and attacks, routing principles and networking fundamentals, well known protocols, command line interfaces

Extensive experience with Linux, UNIX, Windows operating systems

Significant understanding of regular expressions

Solid knowledge of Packet Analysis Tools.

Scripting/programming skills a plus
